BOOK Design
The Insight educational textbook series was designed in partnership with CoGrounded and STEP Lab.
THE PROJECT
Insight Launch and Insight Ascend are a series of educational career-readiness books designed for learners with cognitive disabilities and their instructors. The series is comprised of two 500-page textbooks for educators, and two accompanying workbooks for learners.

I collaborated with CoGrounded, a Michigan-based publishing company, and STEP Lab, the research group responsible for developing the curriculum, to design these books—cover by cover and page by page.

Ensuring diverse representation, as well as stringently visually-accessible content, was a top priority on this project.

While the books have not yet been produced in bulk, the first proof copies were recently printed (pictured right).
